Michigan Beer has Arrived
I had a Bell's Amber at the Sawmill Taproom the other night; that's how I knew that a distributor was carrying it here. The Amber is decent, but Two Hearted Ale is where it's at for me.
I got this sixpack at Total Wine. The Kalamazoo Stout is big and bitter; good for winter. The Third Coast Old Ale is even better; I hope they carry it. It's strong enough to act as a natural antifreeze in your bloodstream.

So now, is there any reason to live in Michigan?
In Michigan, you can pay your mortgage with your returned beer bottles. We have no such bottle law here. Also, in Michigan, you can chill your beer in a snow bank.
I had a couple pints of Two Hearted Ale last night at The Flying Saucer. Bliss.
You've never had cask Two Hearted or Bells Porter brewed on the old brewing system on tap at the Eccentric Cafe. These are beers to die for!
