Home-made Copper Pot Rack o' Death

 Posted by Hello

I balked at the price of the fancy-schmancy pot racks I had found, and none of them were quite right for my limited space options. Therefore, I cobbled together a home-made item out of hooks, nuts, shelf brackets, threaded rod and copper pipe (the former giving structural integrity to the latter), a 2x4 and some copper flashing.

Awesome! Proving that kitchen lust is the mother of ingenuity. Where exactly did you locate it? Can't quite see...

Very nice.

It's on the wall facing the laundry room/pantry, in that little pass-through between the kitchen and the living room. It has freed up some space and saved some bending over/heavy lifting.

Very crafty. Where did you get the copper flashing?

Home Depot. It was quite inexpensive, but it is thin enough to cut with scissors. It may not stand up to bar top use....

...but perhaps under a generous coat of acrylic epoxy, it might work...
