SmokeDroid Strikes Again
Some Salmon spent 24 hours in the fridge, buried in salt, sugar and black pepper. I invoked the powers of SmokeDroid, and this is the result:

Hey Dude! A bunch of us smoker-bums have checked out your SMOKEDROID and have a concern... is it "galvanized" metal? If so we're worried the zinc could oxidize and, well, kill someone...
BUT if not, the thing looks really freaking cool!
Yes, it's a galvanized trash can. However, zinc is pretty stable. Also, after the first use, the inside of the can was coated in a considerable patina of smoke residue, so it appears to be effectively sealed.
I wired a dimmer switch with a cord, so I can now adjust the heat from outside the can. Otherwise, I would have had to cut a door in the side. That sounded like too much of a pain in the ass.
