Another Triptych: Enjoying the new camera

Roast beef carnage:
After Christmas dinner:
The cooking wife (I cranked it up to ISO 1250 and turned off the overhead light. 1/100 sec exposure):
The camera is the Panasonic Lumix FZ8. It does a lot. We had been wanting an SLR, but Lindz had her eye on this one. It was quite a bit cheaper, and we really like it.

Quite nice- 12x zoom, f2.8. Have you tried ISO 3200 yet? (warning: don't do it while operating heavy machinery).
I like the party hats, and the majestic river of bovine juice on the carving board.

Heeh. Your Christmas party looks amazingly British, what with the cracker and the party hats.
I thought you had different heritage, man! Where's the stern German singing under the Christmas tree? ;o)
(btw: Did you like the cookies? Aren't Kathy's brownies amazing? And: I hope Lindsey will have any use for the box ... If not, you can store nails and screws in it or something. ;o))
